A New Perspective

The morning was young going up the canyon. Rain fell over the valley... but not there. There the rocks looked as if clouds had fallen upon them like a blanket over grass for a picnic in the sun. The sun did not shine but the radiance remained. Fog covered the tall overhanging peaks and some of the rugged brown still peaked through the piles of snow. There were but few people in number, perhaps one or two only. The air was wet and chilly, smelled of winter... with a hint of that unique, very defined Utah stink.
Playing ever so softly was the still calm of piano music coming from the speakers of a laptop. At that very moment nothing could have been so perfectly serene, for it was calm, and peaceful, still and beautiful in the most imaginable sort of way.
Sitting a top a hill at the base of a canyon has a certain ere to it. Looking out over the valley you cannot help but think of all the wonder in life. There is no bad feeling taking in the view even when a snowy day clouds the sky with a grey sheet. It reminds me of home and that is a comfort. Reminds me of everything that has been, and is still yet to come. It is a thrill, a curious wonder, like the awe of a child's face during the holiday season. It is what makes everyday worth it, it is the reminder that life is good and no matter how bad things get there will always be good among us.

Ramblings of Dog

So there was this one time in our english class...emmm probably Junior year, we were assigned a prompt on a life in a different thing. Well in all honesty I can say I did not write it on a dog, and even more so cannot even recall what I did write on. How is this relevant you might ask? Well the example used was through the eyes of a dog. Being eight hundred or so miles away from my own dog figured it was a brillant time to make her "blog official"?
It is absolutely incredible how intelligent and capable animals are in their communication. Not saying all animals possess such strong intellect, for lack of a better term. But it is actually quite amazing nontheless. My dog can dance, roll over, crawl, spaz, sit, speak, cry, shake, high-five... and maybe one or two other things. This is all completely random but just think she's pretty cool in all her terrierness.

Keep Going

Do not say what you do not mean. Do not do what you do not sincerely feel impowered to do. But do not just not do nothing.
Do what you know to be right. Do what your heart is set on, what you are most compassionate about, regardless of the possible mockery recieved from the outward crowd.
So what if they do not like it, they are not you. They do not have to live with that life long decision... or perhaps that life long consequence.
Hold your head up high, be positive. Take on the world, for it is taking on you. Stay positive, be positive.
In time your journey, though rough and at times perhaps treacherous will be more than worth it, it will be an experience well lived and a dream well achieved.

A First at Blogging

Well not much to say at present... rather than this is the first blog post on this blog... not that, that wasn't obvious. It has proven interesting thus far. If you keep up with this craziness, prepare for some randoms. The productivity of the future of this blog remains in question but it is in effort that there will be more posts. So begins blog life, eat it up!
